In the Algerian Sahara, the Tassili du Hoggar offers endless sandy areas resembling the moon surface where magnificent rock cathedral are surmounted by unusual dunes. We will explore caves and mountain ravines to discover fine rupestral art, antique evidence of its prehistorical inhabitants life.

This workshop is for adventure lovers only, it focuses mainly on landscape photography and trekking.

7 Days Workshop Cost: 2200€ includes:
Round trip ticket with Air Algeria from Milan to Algiers and from Algiers to Tamanrasset.
Accommodation in Tamanrasset, transfers from and to Tamanrasset, campsites, and meals during the workshop in the desert, the jeep trip in the desert, the trekking with the guide and the tuition fee itself.
Passport and visa. It is mandatory to have a Passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date and a Visa for Algeria.
Insurance. It is mandatory to have insurance for health/accidents/repatriation and it is also strongly recommended to have travel cancellation insurance.
The workshop cost may have a 7% variation according to flight fees.
Materials to bring along for the trekking:
A pair of trekking shoes, a winter sleeping bag, a winter jacket, a sweatshirt, a sweater, long-sleeved shirts, long light pants, a water bottle, two trekking stick, sunglasses, solar protection cream, first-aid kit, toilet paper, windproof matches, refreshing tissues (some areas have no water available) a long head-scarf to protect you from the sun and wind. Tuaregs, the local population uses the tagelmust, which you can buy in Tamanrasset.
Please note the strong thermal stress between night, which can drop to 0°C and day which can reach 30°C.
Your checked bag limit is 15kg
Photographic Material: it is extremely important to protect your photographic gear. Fine sand has the annoying habit to get everywhere. Please equip your camera so the send can’t reach the interior mechanism or the lenses. Further, bring along several extra batteries since there won’t be any access to electrical power for a week.
